May was a busy month. Get prepared for lots of pictures!
In April & May, Ryker & Trinidee played outdoor soccer. This is Ryker's first time, and he didn't love it at first. He would even cry & scream, saying "I don't want to play soccer!" But after some bribing, he learned to enjoy it. ;)
Trinidee had another good season. We really liked her coach Marco.
I discovered "Perennials For Utah" via Facebook, and my friend Megan & I went for the first time on May 3. I was in heaven! We went a little crazy and bought a ton of stuff. But my flower beds needed some color, and this place has great pricing! I'm happy to say that probably 85% of what I purchased there is still alive.
Also on May 3, we had our girls night sleepover at Krista's place. (Jes took the pic). We made some yummy thai food all by ourselves! It was a lot of fun. I'm glad we keep the girls night tradition going.
This blog is also my gardening journal. I wanted to post what my plants look like at different times of the year. This is my flowering almond (one of my favorites in the spring), and my lilac.
On May 9, Kevin graduated from Salt Lake Community college with his Associates. He's going on to get his Bachelors in Aviation at UVU in the fall. I'm so proud of him!
The graduation was 3 hours long. I'm glad Beckham made it out alive.
May 12 was Mother's Day. I got this pretty hanging basket & a GoPro camera from Kevin.
And these are the gifts from the kids...
On May 16, I went to a workshop where Devin Graham was speaking. I'm a big fan of his videos. It was fun to meet him.
More flower pics. These were taken May 20.
I love when the weather is warm enough for the kids to play outside every day!
Here is Ryker's Pre-School class, a few days before graduation.
And the big graduation day was on May 24! We got these flowers for his teacher, Miss Barbara, along with a card & a gift card to Olive Garden. :)
First Daddy's graduation, then big brother's. Beckham was a pretty good sport to sit through them all.
That evening, we went with some friends to a "Black & White" formal ball that was a fundraiser for a ward's Young Women's program. We don't get to get dressed up very often, so it was fun to do something different for date night. We had a good time.
And we had a pretty full moon that night!
And a couple more random beginning-of-summer pics....
For Memorial Day weekend, we first spent a night in Logan, Utah, and went to a cousin's wedding reception. Then we headed up to Star Valley.
We visited Myrna's grave, just a little over a year from when she was buried there.
We are still in the process of getting her a headstone.
We stayed at this cute little place in Thayne called Cabin Creek Inn.
One of the nights, we went to the place where Heidi & Glade's families were staying and had a marshmallow roast.
We went to the cemetery again on Monday.
Kevin, Glade & I were training for Ragnar, so we went on a run in Afton. :)
Then we hiked up to Intermittent Springs with the kids.
May 29th was the Bee-A-Reader assembly. Both girls earned their medallion!
And here's a double rainbow to end the blog post for May! ;)

Good job on the updates! Feels good to document all the fun times! Great pics as always. :) it is a little sad that we will soon be putting our flower beds to rest for the fall/winter.
