Memorial Day Barn Trip

Post #4 for the day:
Okay, so here goes:
We left for the barn in Bedford, WY on May 28th. We were about 30 minutes behind Kyle & Brianne. They had hit a bump on the freeway near Coalville and lost control of their tent trailer. It busted into pieces and all their stuff went all over the road. When we caught up to them, it looked like this:

We were so glad no one got hurt. It sucks they lost their trailer, but everyone was okay.

We loaded a bunch of their stuff, (which surprisingly had minimal damage), into our trailer and continued on.....

Here's the south end. Always picturesque....
I love Star Valley!

Here's Kyle with Trinidee & Bailee, going for a ride. Ryker's waiting for his turn.

The two main projects we worked on this trip were the pantry shelves, doors, and two long heaters along the east & west walls on the main floor.

Trinidee was "selling" candy & crackers.

Mmmmm. Yummy! And the food doesn't look too shabby either. ;)

Bailee feeding Hadlee. I love how Bailee's mouth is open, "willing" Hadlee's to open too. I also do that when I'm feeding children.

James & Kevin installing one of the heaters. It was so nice to have! It wasn't exactly a warm weekend.

Some of the kids shooting the paintball gun.

Some of us took the kids on a little walk.

While we were on the walk, Kevin, Kyle, James, & Frank hiked to the ledges to do some rapelling. You can see one of them here, just look for the red helmet by the tree.

The fabulous Hudson Hornet! Owned by Uncle Spencer. If anyone knows someone who likes to restore old cars, it's for sale!

We left the barn on Monday and travelled up to Alpine to meet my brother Shane, and my sister Season. Shane and his family live in Jackson Hole, and Season and her boys were up visiting. She lives in Burley, so it was nice to see them, since I hardly ever get to anymore! We went to this yummy place called the Cheeseburger Factory in Alpine. Best cheeseburger I've ever had. I'm bummed I didn't get a picture of it.

Here are Sam & Easton playing like they always do. I miss them!

And this picture is totally unrelated to this post, but I had to throw it in here somewhere! Ryker fell asleep like this in our laundry room one day. And yes, my house is usually that cluttered.
