Gingerbread House

We started this tradition of decorating a gingerbread house probably 3 years ago. I've never actually made gingerbread, I just buy the kit for $8 or $9, and the girls LOVE to decorate it! Trinidee always asks if she can eat it.

Too bad Bailee's hair is covering up her face in these pics!

I love your tree picture in the heading- it's so pretty. Making Gingerbread houses it always so much fun- was Ryker around, did he want to get in it? That's what Camberlyn would have done. My favorite is when I was younger we used to take empty milk cartons and put graham crackers on them for the gingerbread. I think they tasted better then real gingerbread. Oh well, I guess that was in the olden days. :)

How fun! I love doing gingerbread houses! Too bad Devin isn't as thrilled with the idea, I have a feeling I'll be decorating it alone! haha

I love it. That is always a highlight of Christmas in our house.

We just bought and decorated that exact same kit! I love that you don't have to mix the icing either. That's where I always seem to mess up by making the icing too thin. :)
